"Fitness is a full-time and lifetime commitment."
Eric's interest in fitness was sparked as a student athlete. He played soccer, baseball and lacrosse before concentrating on hockey. As a high school and then college player for Pennsylvania State University he established an affinity for a healthy lifestyle.
His student athlete days inspired him to study about exercise in college. He earned a degree in Kinesiology from Penn State in 2007. Eric's study of Kinesiology, the study of the mechanics of body movement has proven to be a key advantage for his clients. Eric is a Certified Personal Trainer holding certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Kettlebell Level II certification from Kettlebell Athletics.
Eric fine tuned his skills at Equinox Fitness Club in Roslyn and Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Lynbrook before moving to Studio Strength. Along with building his personal training business, he is currently pursuing a Masters in Physical Education from Hofstra University.
Eric believes that a healthy lifestyle is not limited to one to two hours a week. He believes it is a lifetime commitment necessitating a three pronged approach including cardiovascular training, resistance training and nutrition. He's a stickler for proper form and he strives for his clients to not only look better but more importantly feel better.
"I started working out at Studio Strength after trying other personal training programs...I've continued because Christine listens to what I want to accomplish. I'm now stronger and more fit due in no small part to Christine's encouragement." - Kathy Z., Client
